The Story Behind Story Tavern

Story Tavern was built on a simple idea: every block deserves a room that knows your name. Not a sports bar with twelve screens. Not a cocktail lounge with a dress code. A pub. The kind of room where the bartender remembers what you drank last Friday, the kitchen is firing real food until close, and the regulars at the bar will scoot one stool over to make space for someone new.

We sit at 150 S San Fernando Boulevard, a few doors down from the Burbank theaters and just past the AMC. After work, after the show, after the game — whatever brought you out tonight, we're open till ten. Wednesday through Sunday, dark on Monday and Tuesday so our team gets a real weekend, too.

The Philosophy

The beer list rotates — over 25 drafts on tap, from crisp lagers to bold IPAs. The cocktails are made the way they were made before the craft-cocktail boom got fancy: classic spec, fresh juice, no tweezers. And right next door is The Ciderworks, for the nights you want something different without going far.

What you find here is whatever the night decides to be. Some nights it's trivia at full volume. Some nights it's a quiet round after a long week. Either way, the door is open. Pull up a chair.
